At Frisco Gun Club, we offer classes for every level of gun enthusiast - whether you have never held a gun before, or you are looking to enhance your advanced knowledge - we have the class for you. Choose individual classes, follow a curriculum, and get one-on-one training!
License to Carry class required by the state of Texas to carry open or concealed.
For those who have taken LTC 1 and still need to Qualify on the range in order to get their License to Carry.
This is the perfect class for the beginner who needs the basics covered. Spend 1 hour in the classroom covering gun safety, general operation of a semi-auto, grip, stance, aiming, trigger pull and loading. Then, spend time on the range getting comfortable loading, operating and shooting a .22 caliber semi-auto. Guns and ammo provided.
In this class, you will learn the basics of drawing from a holster. This class begins in the classroom with practice guns and moves onto the range where you will participate in live fire drills, using FGC guns and holsters. Our instructors will teach proper techniques with an emphasis on safety using handguns with double action and a safety.
Youth Introduction to Firearms
The Youth Introduction to Firearms class welcomes kids of all ages to learn to safely handle and shoot two .22 caliber rifles and two .22 caliber handguns. They will sit through a short class room instruction where the instructor will focus of gun safety, gun etiquette, how to properly hold each firearm. Each student will then be able to fire rifles and handguns, all under the close supervision of a Frisco Gun Club Firearms Instructor.
Collin County IDPA would like to invite you to join us for a special evening learning about and experiencing first hand the action shooting sport organized by the International Defensive Pistol Association. Open to novice and expert shooters, participation in IDPA matches will help you develop and maintain practical defensive shooting skills as well as reinforce safety habits essential to all shooting sports. This class will be taught and the shooting supervised by a certified IDPA Chief Safety Officer
